Erica and Paul engagement shoot

Erica and Paul are both Loyola U. graduates and met there several years ago when they were students. Their former campus was then the perfect location for our shoot. We rescheduled once due to weather but were fortunate this time with hazy sunshine. Together have an excellent sense of humor which is evident in some of the selects below. It was so much fun to see how Paul knows exactly what to do to make Erica laugh and smile. Can't wait to spend wedding day with them. 

Jennifer and Eric's wedding

Jennifer and Eric contacted me more than a year from their wedding date.... actually I think they may have been my first booking for 2009. In any case, I am so happy they found me. Their venue selection, A New Leaf, provided the perfect backdrop to Jennifer's organic motif. I just love how the concept ran through her choice of flora, table settings, program, cake, etc. Yes, how incredible is this cake? With the evening chill setting in and sunset fading, the couple agreed to head outside with me while guests were finishing their meals. I just love the timeless romance and sophistication they exude in those images. 

 

Mark and Michelle's wedding

Wedding season is fully in swing an I am loving it! Mark and Michelle's wedding was last month May 16th. You may recognize them from the engagement session I blogged about here. The ceremony was held at St. Matthew Catholic Church in Schaumburg and the reception was Glendale Lakes in Glendale Heights. All day we were blessed with perfect weather. At the ceremony there was the most beautiful soft natural light that showered the bride and groom as they took there vows. Prior to the reception we were able to try some fun shots in the adjacent park. The newlyweds have since moved to Tennessee where Mark will begin his residency. Congratulations!
